Some have wondered aloud to me, “What is a wonk?”

“Wonk” =

Slang expression.
An expert who studies a subject or issue thoroughly and excessively. This word is most often encountered in the term “policy wonk.”

Origin :
There are many speculations about the origin of the word.
1. Acronym for “WithOut Normal Knowledge”
2. Reverse spelling of the word KNOW…

Since I like books, especially the Bible, and am continually, regularly and excessively studying – I guess it would be true to say that I am a Biblio-Wonk.
